I had a problem restarting the computer that controls the chair but an email to the company resulted in a phone from them that talked me through solving the problem. If you think that was great customer service...wait. Shortly after that incident, the chair would not deflate. Again I emailed them. They have sent me new chair, provided postage to return the old one. All of this has been done with a company from Israel who wants to make sure their customers are satisfied. “The seat has greatly improved my quality of life by allowing me to get up out of a chair without help. It's portable. I've taken it to multiple restaurants and to a community meeting. Works great and have not received any negative comments for those near by. It worked so well I ordered a second unit within the week. I have one in my office and one that moves between the living room, my workshop, and places outside the home. Battery removal for charging is easy even with my arthritic hands. “This product has been a life saver! My 83 year old husband has been unable to get up out of most chairs. Watching him strain to get up made me feel so bad for him. Now he gets up with ease. He was always afraid those portable lifts would spring him out and might make him fall. He does not have that fear with the SitnStand. It gently raises him up to where he can just move right out of the chair. He now can take small walks two or three times a day and then return to the chair for a rest. This is the best purchase ever and so easy to set up and use. It even comes in a case so when we go to visit our kids we can take it with us. I would recommend this purchase to anyone having a problem getting out of a chair.”

“I purchased this for a friend who is disabled and he uses it to raise himself out of the wheelchair. Going out had been stressful because the people that take him out are not necessarily strong enough to help him stand up, but this takes the stress out of traveling.
