Never miss another dinner out, family visit, or trip because you're worried about standing up. The Lift Assist Compact goes everywhere you go - restaurants, airplanes, theaters, family gatherings - so you can live your life fully without the anxiety of 'will I be able to stand from this chair?' This is your independence in a 6.6-pound bag.
Place the SitnStand Compact on most stable chairs, anywhere you go — your sofa at home, the dining chair, the restaurant booth, the theater seat, the airplane row. Choose a seat that is steady, with at least one arm rest (an armchair is preferable). Try it first: make sure the seat is stable and comfortable before regular use.
Inflate the cushion with the remote to the layer that feels most comfortable, sit down facing forward, and when you feel steady, press Down to deflate. The deflated Compact is firm and comfortable for long stretches — through a dinner, a movie, or a cross-country flight.
When you're ready to stand, move your back away from the backrest and sit upright, then press Up to inflate one layer at a time, up to 8 inches. Wait until each layer is fully inflated and the pump is quiet before you stand. Smooth, steady, and in your control. No pushing off the armrests. No asking for help.
Portable battery-powered cushion that transforms most stable chairs into a lift chair for safe sit-to-stand assistance.
Rechargeable Li-Ion battery pack that powers the lift cushion for up to 70 inflation cycles or up to 7 days per charge, depending on usage.
Universal wall adapter with cable to recharge the battery pack (100-240V compatible).
Lightweight travel case for easy portability and secure storage of the Compact model.

Unlike customers of competing products who complain of "extremely uncomfortable," "too hard," and "makes your back ache horribly" during extended use, SitnStand is engineered for comfortable, pressure-relief seating. You can go to the movies, eat at your favorite restaurant, or relax without any discomfort - making it perfect for daily active living, not just transfers.
Competing product users report "Does not help lift," "stays flat," and "only works after you push up yourself." SitnStand eliminates these failures with 100% gradual lift assistance powered by a reliable Li-Ion battery. Four precise inflation levels ensure consistent performance every time - no mechanical springs to fail, no guesswork, just dependable assistance when you need it.
Other product users report dangerous "feeling of being off balance," falling backwards, and injury from sudden movements. SitnStand's patented Vertical Lift Technology™ with No Catapult Lift ensures safe, controlled, gradual movement. No sudden jerks, no balance disruption, no risk of falling backwards - just smooth, predictable assistance that keeps users stable and secure throughout the entire transfer.
Competing products requires users to "stand the unit on edge," struggle with "difficult to open and adjust" mechanisms, and manually set spring tensions. SitnStand eliminates all this frustration with simple installation requiring no assembly, plus an intuitive remote control for all adjustments. No physical strength needed for setup, no complicated mechanisms - just place it on a stable chair (steady, with at least one arm rest; an armchair is preferable) and operate with the touch of a button.
The competition fails users who are "truly disabled," requiring "two good arms to push up" and causing injuries like the customer whose mother "fell backwards and cried from pain." SitnStand provides complete 100% lift assistance requiring zero user effort. Perfect for users with broken limbs, limited mobility, Parkinson's, or any condition affecting strength - true independence without risk of injury or the need for caregiver assistance.
Learn about core functionality and how the device works
The SitnStand Lift Assist Compact is a portable, battery-powered lift cushion that converts most stable chairs into a personal lift chair. It uses patented Vertical Lift Technology (VLT™) to raise you up to 8 inches vertically, making standing easier and safer. Unlike traditional lift chairs that propel you forward, the Compact provides true vertical lift while keeping your feet firmly on the ground for better stability.
Traditional lift chairs cost $800+ and only work in one location. The Compact weighs just 6.6 pounds, deflates to only 0.4 inches thick, and works on restaurant chairs, theater seats, park benches, airplane seats, and most stable chairs (steady, with at least one arm rest; an armchair is preferable). It comes with a travel backpack and is TSA-compliant for air travel.
The Compact is specifically designed for active lifestyles. It's discreet enough for restaurants, quiet enough for theaters, and TSA-compliant for air travel. The included backpack makes transport effortless, and the compact design means you can maintain your independence at family gatherings, sporting events, parks, and anywhere life takes you.
The system uses specially designed airtight materials that inflate in controlled layers to provide structural support. The 4-level inflation system delivers precise lift heights (2", 4", 6", or 8") in about 25 seconds, operating quietly at less than 70 dB. The vertical lift prevents the dangerous forward catapulting common with other devices.
The Compact eliminates the anxiety of wondering "Will I be able to stand up?" when going places. Whether it's dining out with friends, attending sporting events, visiting family, or traveling, you have reliable assistance wherever you go. This confidence often leads to increased social participation and improved quality of life.
The Compact is designed to be discreet. Its neutral appearance and quiet operation mean most people won't even notice you're using assistance. Many users report feeling more confident in social situations because they're not struggling visibly with standing or requiring help from others.
Perfect for outdoor use. The durable construction handles park benches, outdoor concert seating, sporting events, and patio furniture. The backpack provides protection during transport to outdoor venues.
Instead of being limited to one specific chair at family gatherings, you can join everyone at the dining table, sit comfortably in the living room, or participate fully in outdoor activities. Hosts don't need to worry about having the "right" chair for you - any reasonably stable seating becomes accessible.
The Compact is comfortable for extended sitting during long events. The design doesn't create pressure points or discomfort during 2-3 hour performances. The quiet operation means it won't disturb others during quiet moments in theaters or churches.

We provide an official battery safety certification document required for air travel. The device has been successfully used on domestic and international flights without issues. Airport security solutions:
The Compact eliminates the need for caregivers to provide physical lifting assistance in public settings. Instead of worrying about helping someone stand from restaurant chairs or theater seats, caregivers can simply help position the device and let the user stand independently. This reduces physical strain on caregivers while maintaining the user's dignity in social situations.
When used properly, yes. The device provides true vertical lift that keeps feet on the ground for better stability. However, caregivers should supervise initial use in new environments and ensure the user understands basic safety procedures. Each layer inflates in about 25 seconds; do not attempt to stand up before the layer is totally inflated and there is no sound from the air pump.
Absolutely. The 400-pound weight capacity and 4-level height adjustment accommodate users of different sizes. The travel backpack makes it easy to move between family members during group outings, vacations, or family gatherings. This makes it cost-effective for families with multiple people who need assistance.
Caregivers can assist by checking chair stability, helping position the device properly, and ensuring the remote is within easy reach. In restaurants, request chairs with arms when possible for added stability. The discreet design means most people won't notice the assistance, preserving the user's dignity.
In the case of cognitive impairment, use the Lift Assist Compact only with a caregiver, as stated in the user manual. The caregiver operates the device, while your family member still benefits from standing up without being physically lifted.
The Compact eliminates one of the biggest travel anxieties - wondering if your family member will be able to stand from airplane seats, hotel furniture, or restaurant chairs. Knowing they have reliable assistance wherever you go reduces caregiver stress and allows everyone to enjoy travel and social activities more fully.
Ideal for active individuals with:

The Compact allows you to maintain social connections during recovery without putting strain on healing surgical sites. Whether it's a lunch date, family gathering, or medical appointment, you can participate more fully while protecting your recovery process.

Limited Medicare coverage may be available.
