Lift Assist Classic PRO and Wheelchair PRO.The PRO models work exactly like the standard models. This appendix covers what is different: the fluid-impermeable fabric, its extra warnings, and how to clean and disinfect it. For everything else, use the standard user manual: Lift Assist Classic user manual or Lift Assist for Wheelchairs user manual.
Section 1Intended use
This product is an assistive lifting device designed to help a person transition from a sitting position to a standing position and vice versa. This model features a fluid-impermeable textile.
No change in intended use compared to the standard model.
Section 2Description
This model is identical in structure, function, and operation to the standard SitnStand Classic / Wheelchair. The only difference is the outer textile, which is a fluid-impermeable fabric.
Section 3Warnings and precautions
- Do not submerge the fluid-impermeable model in water.
- Ensure fabric is fully dry after surface cleaning, before folding and storing.
- Do not puncture or damage the fluid-impermeable layer.
- The user needs to be fully clothed while using the product, as stated in the general instructions.
NOTE: All other warnings and precautions listed in the standard SitnStand user manual apply equally to this model.

- Positioning and support
- Folding and storage

Section 5Cleaning and disinfection
- Wipe the fabric cover using a disinfectant wipe or damp cloth with mild detergent.
- For disinfection: wipe surfaces down with 0.1% chlorine solution. It is important to wait 5 minutes, to allow the disinfectant sufficient contact time. After 5 minutes wipe down with a clean cloth moistened with water.
- Allow to air dry.
- Do not use abrasive materials.
- Avoid abrasive tools such as scrubbers, brushes, or hard sponges that could damage the fluid-impermeable coating.
- Do not immerse the product in water or expose it to high-pressure water streams.
Drying instructions
- Allow the textile to air dry naturally at room temperature in a shaded area.
- Avoid direct sunlight, heaters, or tumble dryers, as these can compromise the fluid-impermeable coating.
Section 6Disposal
Dispose of the product in accordance with local regulations for medical devices. No additional steps are required beyond the standard model.
